God, I Know You've Got This

This year I went for my yearly mammogram. I had so much going on that I hadn’t been. I got an appointment to go and I had my check-up. I later received a letter telling me to report back for a second opinion. They said they see something around the right breast that needs to be evaluated. I got very nervous about the test results. I made another appointment. My doctor told me to go and not to stress myself out and to let them take another look.

After hearing this, I asked my Bishop, Elect Lady, saints and friends to pray with me. I went back to get re-examined. I got there very early. I was not fearful. I trust that God got this. What man says God says different. One test was done and then another test an hour later. While I was in the room still being poked and having pictures taken, all I could say was, “God, I know you got this”.

The nurse was in shock and went to get another person to come in. The doctor finally came in and talked with me for a while. I was still laying there. Something that was supposed to be about 20 minutes turned into over an hour. They were looking for something that wasn’t there anymore. The doctor told me that she will see me next year. I wanted to run around the room. I just thanked God in the midst of it all. They were looking for something that God had taken care of.

He asked if I trust Him and I said yes Lord. Yes, I was nervous at first. But I would not call it by its name. I said the C is not going to come and take away my joy. Then, I heard God say, CALL IT OUT! Let the enemy know that he will not afflict God’s temple. I then felt a calm come over me. I was able to leave it in God’s hands and trust that He would honor His Word. God is so awesome, that’s why I love him so.

If you need a miracle, just trust God to perform it. He’s still in the miracle working business. All He wants us to do is trust and believe. If you are battling something today, just leave it in God’s hands no matter how hard it looks. He specializes in things that are impossible.
